Hello my visitor’s we are repairing all kind of multi brand mobile phone’s and also all kind of multi brand laptop’s in Dubai hills mall.
Today I received a laptop Lenovo it was in dead condition not turning ‘ON’. Customer was very sad she wanted to work on it. She had a lot of pending work to do on this laptop. She searched me and came me to repair her laptop. I told her to leave here laptop for one hour to check. Then she left her laptop with me and she went.
When I open laptop and found dust on Mother board, Ram, Hard disk, Fan, each and every part it was dust. Then I cleaned each and very part and trued to turn on it wasn’t. Then I checked voltage supply from charging connector to battery connector it was only 7.05 it should be 19volt.
After that I checked all components throughout battery connector with the help of multimeter somewhere it was leaking voltage that means short-circuit. I use rosin flux to find out shorting with the help of this flux it was very easy to find shorting. The short-circuit was in charging IC. Then I called customer and told her to come to store.
As soon she come I explained everything to her. The main this was that charging IC was not in the stock so I told her I need to arrange IC and give me 3 days to fix this problem. She agreed and she left her laptop with me to fix.
